The Work Placement Program (WPP) integrates employment with the application of academic theory as requirements for completion of BEW3100. The program will be considered an elective equivalent to two units within the Bachelor of Business and Commerce degree.

Much like an industry training, students will integrate theory and practice while undertaking real work in an authentic environment in placements for predetermined periods. This quality experiential learning program will contribute to students’ learning and employers’ productivity.

The WPP has been designed in a unique style and format to provide employers and students with a high degree of flexibility.  From the employer’s perspective, it is hoped that this program will represent a unique investment from which the organisation, the student and the university benefits.  From the student’s perspective, it is hoped that the experience gained from this program will represent the highlight of their university career.
