Please note that enrolments are limited. Students can enroll in a maximum of TWO units during summer semester in the same options (one from each group).

Students are encouraged to enroll and make payment early to secure a place.

ENROLMENT

Enrolment for summer semester will commence on the 3th September 2012.

Web enrolment for summer semester is NOT available. All enrolments have to be done manually at the School of Business, Course Management Office.

HOW TO ENROL

Monash University, Sunway Campus students

Step 1: Complete the Enrolment Amendment Form. Students from other faculties are required to seek advice and approval from respective Course Managers. Course Manager MUST approve and sign-off the Enrolment Amendment Form.

Step 2: Submit the form to Course Management Office at the School of Business.

Step 3: Fee invoice will be issued to students via email. Students are required to make payment by the specified dates stated on the fee invoice email. Your summer enrolment will be automatically discontinued if payment is not received by the specified date.

Step 4: Check WES for confirmation of enrolment.

Please note that enrolments are limited. The closing date for enrolment is on 4th December 2012.

Monash University, Australia and South Africa Campuses students

All students must seek course advice and faculty approval from their home campus for unit(s) they wish to enroll at Sunway to ensure no disruptions to their course progression. Subjects to the requirements of your course and unit availability, you may choose cross-faculty electives as part of your degree program.

Enrolment for summer will commence 3th September 2012 and enrolments are limited.

Step 1: Complete the Summer at Sunway Campus Application Form and Monash Abroad Application Form

Step 2: Obtain approval from respective Course Coordinator from your home department/faculty on the Monash Abroad Application Form. Without home campus/faculty approval, you will not be allowed to participate in this program.

Step 3: Return Summer at Sunway Campus Application Form and Monash Abroad Application Form and the relevant documents required for the Student Pass application to Monash Abroad, 1st Floor Campus Centre Building 10, Clayton Campus by:

  • 14th September 2012 (non-Malaysian citizens)
  • 9th November 2012 (Malaysian citizens)

Non-Malaysian students will require a student pass/visa to study in Malaysia. You are required to attach the following to facilitate the application for the student pass/visa:

  1. 3 full and clear copies of ALL pages of passport (including empty pages)
  2. 6 passport-size colour photographs

If application is successful, Sunway Campus staff will enrol the student. Students can check on WES for confirmation of enrolment. Information on fees will be enclosed in the Summer Offer Letter. Students must accept their offers by the given deadline in the offer letter or else enrolment will be discontinued.

Please note that if you did not fill out the Monash Abroad Application Form, you will NOT be allowed to participate in this program.

Cross Institutional Application (non Monash University students)

Students from other institution have the opportunity to study at Monash University, Sunway Campus. Please follow the steps below for registration.

Step 1: Obtain approval from your University/Institute for the unit(S) you wish to enrol at Monash University, Sunway Campus.

Step2: Complete the Cross Institution Application Form (Summer).

Step 3: Send the form and the relevant documents to the address as stated on the form.

Non-Malaysian students will require a student pass/visa to study in Malaysia. You are required to attach the following to facilitate the application for the student pass/visa:

  1. 3 full and clear copies of ALL pages of passport (including empty pages)
  2. 6 passport-size colour photographs

If successful, you will be given an offer letter. Monash University will inform the student (via email) if the enrolment for the unit(s) is already full. The student will be placed on a waiting list.

DISCONTINUATION DATES

To drop a unit, you must complete the Enrolment Amendment Form and submit it to the Course Management Office at the School of Business.

Last day to discontinue a unit without academic and financial penalty:
17th December 2012
Any unit discontinued after this date will incur fee liability. Partial fees will be refunded and the unit will be shown as “Discontinued” on your academic record.
Last day to discontinue a unit WITH academic and financial penalty:
24th December 2012
Any unit discontinued after this date will incur academic and financial penalty. There will be no refund of fees and the unit will be shown as “Fail” on your academic record.
