Research takes centre-stage at the School of Business. The School has an excellent research infrastructure coupled with a stimulating research culture driven by committed researchers, supported by a team of dedicated administrators.

Researchers in the School regularly publish papers in international journals and present their work at major national and international conferences. Some of the researchers are members on editorial boards of leading international journals. The School regularly organises seminars, workshops and international conferences.

Research Units and Groups

The School of Business has established research units and groups to spearhead research activities. The research units and groups are as follows:

• Banking & Finance Unit

• Economic & Business Modelling Unit

• Malaysian Business Unit

• Strategy Research Group

It is envisioned that the research units and groups will facilitate engagement with the research community, government and industry in the region.

These research units and groups will serve as platforms for learning, exploration of new knowledge and dissemination of knowledge. They are envisaged to guide the School of Business to become a leading research school in the region.
