Applied Econometrics

  •  Description

Over the last three decades, the global socioeconomic landscape has undergone major structural changes due to the forces of globalization, liberalization and digitization. Economies across the globe, especially developing and under-developed economies are grappling with the rapid transformations in the global economic architecture. Researchers in this unit are currently studying new economic models to understand how these forces impact the developing and under-developed world, and the policies & strategies that will help them ‘catch-up’ with more evolved economies.

Strengths include: Sustainable socioeconomic development, Information/network economy, knowledge-economy, digital-divide and ASEAN economic development.
